This week's "wow" is brought to you by the letter "F". Flamingo! Also "C" for cell phone photography...
We took Junior to the zoo and were met by this long-legged fellow in the rainforest dome. Junior greeted him with enthusiasm.
"PAMINDO!"
"That's right, kiddo. A pink flamingo."
"Peenk pamindo."
I think the Arctic Fox was mildly insulted to be called a "puppy goggie", but the bald eagles were content to be referred to as "boodies".
What's YOUR wow?
At least you were able to translate.
ReplyDeleteCute, a pink pamindo! My son used to call beavers "woodpeckers." When you think about it, it makes sense.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute. My one and a half year old granddaughter calls her stuffed bunny a "bot" which I think is short for rabbot. :)
ReplyDeleteAudrey, I have an award for you and your blog at my post today.
