Wow of the Week!

This is our beloved (if slightly bedraggled) Angel wing begonia. It's in the process of reblooming, and I snapped this single specimen catching some rays.

We kept it in the house for the first year or two, just until we got an idea of the habits of the neighborhood critters. I loved the wisteria-like clusters of pale flowers. A weird thing happened when it got outside, though. The branches shot up two feet and the flowers turned shocking pink!

Sunshine makes you mighty.

  1. Bet it would've died in our house...

  2. Beautiful picture. I used to love to garden but now I guess I'm feeling my age so I love appreciating the gardens of others.
